Archaeological Museum of Timgad – Algeria
The Timgad Archaeological Museum houses many of the artifacts uncovered during excavations of the ancient Roman city of Timgad. The museum helps interpret the archaeological remains found throughout the site.
Inside the museum, visitors can view collections of Roman mosaics, statues, inscriptions, and everyday objects that once formed part of life in the Roman colony. These artifacts reveal details about the culture, religion, and daily routines of the people who lived in the city nearly two thousand years ago.
The museum provides important context for understanding the ruins of Timgad and the broader Roman presence in North Africa.
