Bastogne War Museum – Bastogne, Belgium
The Bastogne War Museum stands near the town of Bastogne in Belgium and is dedicated to the history of the Battle of the Bulge, the largest battle fought by American forces during the Second World War.
Through exhibits, artifacts, and multimedia presentations, the museum tells the story of the winter campaign of 1944–1945 and the experiences of soldiers and civilians during the fighting. The museum stands near the Mardasson Memorial, a large star-shaped monument honoring American soldiers who fought in the region.
Together these sites form one of the most important historical memorial landscapes associated with the Allied campaign in Western Europe.
