Los Dominicos – Santiago, Chile
The historic complex of Pueblito Los Dominicos lies in the eastern part of Santiago at the foot of the Andes Mountains. The site grew around the colonial-era Church of San Vicente Ferrer, built by the Dominican order in the 18th century.
Today the surrounding area has become a traditional artisan village where craftsmen sell handmade goods including ceramics, textiles, wood carvings, and jewelry inspired by Chilean cultural traditions. The adobe buildings and shaded courtyards create a relaxed atmosphere that reflects the region’s heritage.
Los Dominicos offers visitors a glimpse into the artistic traditions and everyday culture of modern Chile.
