Torres del Paine - Grey Lagos

Grey Lake – Torres del Paine, Chile

Lake Grey lies within Torres del Paine National Park and is fed by the massive Grey Glacier, which descends from the vast Southern Patagonian Ice Field.

The lake is famous for the floating blue icebergs that break away from the glacier and drift across its waters. Surrounded by rugged mountains and strong Patagonian winds, the landscape around Lake Grey is both dramatic and constantly changing.

The glacier and lake together form one of the most powerful reminders of the immense ice fields that dominate southern Patagonia.
