Narawantapu NP Tasmania

Narawntapu National Park – Tasmania, Australia

The coastal wilderness of Narawntapu National Park lies along the northern shoreline of Tasmania overlooking the waters of Bass Strait. The park protects a diverse landscape of wetlands, grasslands, coastal lagoons, and sandy beaches.

Because of its remarkable concentration of wildlife, Narawntapu is often called the “Serengeti of Tasmania.” Visitors frequently encounter kangaroos, wombats, wallabies, and a wide variety of bird species grazing across the open plains.

The park remains one of the best locations in Tasmania for observing native wildlife in a natural setting.
