Casablanca – Morocco
The coastal city of Casablanca lies along the Atlantic Ocean and is the largest city and economic center of Morocco. Although the area has ancient roots, much of the modern city developed during the 20th century, particularly during the French protectorate period.
Casablanca is known for its broad boulevards, modern architecture, and busy port that connects Morocco with international trade networks. The city blends historic neighborhoods with modern commercial districts and serves as the country’s financial and industrial hub.
Its coastal setting and dynamic urban environment make Casablanca one of the most important cities in North Africa today.
