Aalborg – Denmark
The historic city of Aalborg lies along the Limfjord in northern Denmark. Originally a Viking trading settlement, Aalborg developed into an important commercial port during the Middle Ages.
Colorful houses, historic churches, and waterfront districts illustrate the city’s maritime heritage. In later centuries Aalborg became known for its production of Akvavit, a traditional Scandinavian spirit.
Today Aalborg blends its historic character with modern cultural attractions, making it one of northern Denmark’s most vibrant cities.
