Tunis St Vincent de Paul Cathedral

Cathedral of St. Vincent de Paul – Tunis, Tunisia

The Cathedral of St. Vincent de Paul stands along Avenue Habib Bourguiba in the center of Tunis. Constructed in the late 19th century during the period of French administration in Tunisia, the cathedral reflects a blend of Neo-Romanesque and Byzantine architectural influences.

Its large façade and twin towers form one of the most recognizable landmarks in the modern city center. The cathedral was dedicated to Saint Vincent de Paul, a French priest known for his humanitarian work.

Today the cathedral remains an important historical and architectural reminder of Tunisia’s colonial-era past.
