Brompton Oratory

Brompton Oratory – London, England

The impressive Brompton Oratory, formally known as the Church of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, stands in the district of South Kensington in London. Built in the late 19th century, the church reflects the grand architectural style of the Roman Baroque.

Its richly decorated interior features ornate altars, sculptures, and elaborate frescoes that create a striking contrast to the surrounding Victorian streets. The Oratory is associated with the Congregation of the Oratory of Saint Philip Neri, a Catholic religious community founded in the 16th century.

Today Brompton Oratory remains one of the most significant Catholic churches in London.
