Amazon Research Center – Peru

The Amazon Research Center supports scientific study and conservation within the ecosystems of the Peruvian Amazon. Researchers and conservationists working in the region study wildlife populations, forest ecology, and sustainable management of the rainforest.

Programs conducted at research facilities in the Amazon focus on protecting endangered species, monitoring biodiversity, and understanding the complex interactions between plants, animals, and climate within the rainforest ecosystem.

These research efforts play an important role in preserving the extraordinary biodiversity of the Amazon Basin.
